Dog training mistakes: the full seminar
Most dog training mistakes are the same mistake. The thing you do to stop a behaviour is usually the thing paying for it. You tell your dog off, you touch your dog, and now you have paid for the jump you were trying to end.
My first community seminar, twenty-seven minutes, recorded by PetWell in Docklands. Murphy slept on her mat the whole way through, which made the argument better than the slides did.

The one thing I would change
This was my first year in business and I stand by nearly all of it. The exception is the loose-lead advice near the end, where I tell you to turn when the dog gets ahead. Turning is not wrong, it is just not the whole thing, and what I teach now has grown into a system of its own.
Everything else has only got more specific since. The talk is where the four modes, the waterline and the reading started, back when they were still just things I said out loud in a room.
