Day 4 - Wed 25 Mar

At 9am this morning, Rudi dropped me off at school for one last meeting before Home Learning begins. My colleagues and I took social distancing very seriously. We gathered in the staff room, each seated at a different table, at least 2 metres away from each other. We planned out how Home Learning for students may look like in our subject areas, then packed everything we needed to teach from home for Term 2. Our school shut its door at 11am until further notice...
Rudi picked me up with fresh croissants, I ate them in the car while we drove to Cymbie's to deliver the Quiche Lorraine they ordered. Cymbie was kind enough to give us some glass jars and containers to support out little project. She gave us some ideas and also requested for Rudi to cook her and Simon their 3-course anniversary dinner next Wednesday!
We then went to South Melbourne market to get some groceries. It was surprisingly (or not so surprisingly) empty!
Back at home, I worked on some more school work while Rudi made more quiches and pastas. I then helped him put together a menu to share with friends. Almost immediately, the orders streamed in. 4 pastas here, 2 quiches there, we now have orders up through to Sunday for pick ups!
For dinner, Rudi made chicken ballotine served with random leftover vegetables as an appetiser, then pasta bolognese as a main. It was delicious!
We finished the movie we started last night before we went to bed at 11pm. Such a inspirational movie that reminds us it's never too late to live your life to the fullest.
